The list is worth reading in its own right. There’s a nice balance between the sparse recommendations like “a well-researched account of Captain Cook’s last voyage” and William B. Gould IV’s eight-book rundown of things worth taking up space on your bookshelf. Or nightstand. Or your Goodreads pages so can virtue signal how erudite you manage to be while also hitting your billables.
